OGB Restaurant, located on the ground floor of the OGB building (Old government building), an Award winning dining experience. The Font Bar is a popular meeting place for pre-dinner cocktails.
The main building is modern, the adjacent OGB building is a magnificent Italian Renaissance style building, lovingly restored from the former turn of the century Old Government building.
The hotel lobby is medium size lobby, with furniture fitting in with the style of this great building.
This is a superb old world hotel, considered to be one of the best in Christchurch, in keeping with the city itself. A fantastic place to stay while in Christchurch on business or leisure. High standards of service. The Champs Elysees Beauty Day Spa, set in Heritage Christchurch's OGB building has been named "best clinic" in the 2005 New Zealand Beauty Therapy awards.
